Scania celebrates 80 years in the Netherlands with the King’s Blue Limited Edition
In 2026, Scania Nederland celebrates a special milestone: 80 years since Adr. Beers N.V. imported the very first Scania-Vabis trucks into the Netherlands. To mark this anniversary, Scania is launching the King’s Blue Limited Edition, exclusively for the Dutch market. This limited series consists of only 80 trucks, each featuring a unique design and a true one-of-a-kind interior. A festive way to kick off the jubilee year!
Back in 1946, Adr. Beers N.V., then based in Rijswijk, became the official importer of Scania-Vabis trucks and buses for the Netherlands. This laid the foundation for the successful growth of the Swedish brand in the country, a history filled with milestones. After 80 years, Scania has built a strong and loyal customer base in the Netherlands, proudly supporting the “King of the Road.”
With the King’s Blue Limited Edition, Scania continues its tradition of exclusive limited editions, following earlier releases such as the Red Passion and Silver Griffin.
